John Link
John Link attended California State University at Long Beach and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He then went on to graduate from Golden Gate University with a Master of Science degree in Taxation.
Mr. Link was one of the founding partners of Link, Murrel & Company, LLP (“LMC”), acting for over 32 years prior to his firm merging into Redwitz, Inc on August 1, 2017. At LMC he was the Director of Management Advisory, Litigation Support, Accounting Services and Practice Development for the firm as well as Managing Partner for over 10 years. Before his time at LMC he served as an auditor with the County of Los Angeles where he supervised audits of various departments and districts within the county. After which, John worked with Arthur Young & Company in all areas of federal and state taxation for three years. Finally, he served at Coleman & Grant for nine years, four of which as Partner as well as serving tenures as Director of Taxes and Director of Personnel for the firm, respectively. He has been involved in the tax planning and compliance services for several companies, including real estate developers, manufacturing entities, professional corporations and nonprofit entities.
Mr. Link currently holds Certified Public Accountant licenses in Arizona and California. As well as Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations through LPL Financial and a Series 65 registration through WCG Wealth Advisors. He is also holds memberships to American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Link also serves on multiple Boards including The Newport Beach Film Festival as Treasurer with 15 years of service, The Laguna Beach Community Clinic as Treasure with 10 years of service, and formerly served as a Board member of The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire for 14 years.
